Facebook Shop data in Google Analytics
Here's a Google Analytic's tip for you this week.
- If you run a Facebook Shop use the source/medium report in Google Analytics,
- add 'Campaign' as a secondary dimension
By viewing the data in this way you can get insight into:
- how many sessions/users your Facebook shop drove to your website
- how engaged these users were
- how many transactions were driven by your Facebook shop
In this screenshot, you can see that most of the traffic came from Instagram rather than Facebook and that one transaction came from Instagram.
